Sparta Naz is committed to our responsibility of reaching our community and world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Adults, children, and youth work together to mobilize the church in the area of missions through prayer, education, and giving.

There are monthly inspirational services designed to keep us informed of the world’s needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs.

Faith Promise Giving

As a church, we raise funds to support mission work being done around the world! Once a year, our people pledge an amount they feel called to give over the next year. Then we look forward to seeing how God provides the funds to meet those pledges.

UPDATE:

From the Ibanda Family in Madagascar

Madagascar Street Kids Center - Due to COVID-19 and government restrictions, we have been distributing food (per child, per week we give: 2 kgs of rice, 1/2 kg of beans, 1 liter of cooking oil, and 250 grams of salt) to the children every Monday. They take it home and cook it there in their respective families. Every Monday, they collect the class assignments and homework and return them on Friday afternoon. All our teachers and staff help facilitate this work. For your information, our center has a total of 286 children (girls and boys), aged between 5 and 21 years old. Only 110 are sponsored through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM), while others are still waiting to be sponsored, and we can’t send them away.

UPDATE:

From Steve and Rebecca Barber in Thailand:

This is our water at the Maetang Children’s Home. The water tower is old, and we need to install water filters. This will be a costly project, but if many churches and individuals collaborate, we can provide clean water for the families and children living here. There are three things you can do to help. 1) pray, 2) give, 3) become an advocate. Tell others and share this post!
