Worshipis how we live our lives in response to the gift of salvation offered to us through Jesus. When we gather on Sunday mornings to worship together, we like to use a variety of art forms to remember God’s story and to enter into a conversation with our Creator.
The Christian Year is a repeating yearlong calendar consisting of six seasons (or movements) that, in its fullness, tells the entire story of Christ. The worship arts team seeks to include themes, Scriptures, and songs that adhere to the Christian Year in our worship services. In engaging with the Christian Year, we are spiritually formed by recalling and entering into God’s significant saving events.
In every season, we are invited into a piece of Christ’s story. We have crafted a playlist of songs for each season (available for free on Spotify) to help you walk through days, weeks, and months intentionally looking to Christ.
We are always looking to add more people to our team. Whether you sing, play an instrument, read, act, paint, draw, or enjoy computer technology, we would love for you to help us remember, retell, and reenact the story of God in our worship.
